[Corsa B 1993-2000] 5 Door GLS soon to be X16XE

hi all, iv just been and bought a 1999 corsa 1.2 16v 5 door gls
(its my first corsa more door )
she looks a tad tatty at the minute nut nothing to major on the pluss
side its like new underneath
it needs the handbrake adjusting and the gear selector sorting out









first on the list is a bloody good clean inside and out
then ill sort the rust spots on the boddy and fix the bumper

mods to follow

de-badged grill
paint the black plastics silver
aero wiper blades (done front)
quick shift gear selector (done)
depo headlights
xenon lights (done)
spot lights
smokes repeaters
smoked rear lights
dial face and green dash lights (lights done with red needles)
vectra or astra steering wheel
bad boy bonnet
vectra b side-skirts
lowered 60mm on springs and shocks
nice exhaust
15" alloy wheels (possibly sxi corsa c)
paint alloys a bright colour (not decided on the colour yet)

possibly a bigger engine (have it)

and possibly more as i go



fitted some aero wiper blades
fitted xenon conversion (dropped a bulb and broke it)
ordered some clocks
ordered new 10000k bulbs
and got this \/ \/ \/



this is the old broken bush (very floppy gears) i can move it with 1 finger




swapped the bushes over and 10 mins later i have a new quick shift gear selector with good bushes :


its awesome it almost as if the car is faster lol


i had a gander in the tutorials and found something interesting so i had a pop at it lol


not finished yet but you get the idea lol

and im on wrapping my interior parts in 3D carbon fibre


picked up a downer car tonight (1.6 16v tigra), for the engine and wheels and probably more







well i got the blue beastie's front end half stripped i think the front seats and some trim are coming off tomorrow and get the engine ready to lift out






put the tigra skuttle and wiper arms on today, looks a lot cleaner now, well it will when i wash it haha

also got the front seats in

got rid of the tigra shell and bought myself a 4 branch manifold i think my itchy fingers wont wait till this weekend to put the 16-16 in haha

yes mate i ordered over a hundred by accident so yea the whole car will be getting the green vibe haha

UPDATE.....
i went and got myself a little tool to speed up jobs

this helped take the pulleys off to change the timing belt, and inoticed the exhaust cam pulley was broke




now its ready to be dropped in

Quick shifts are awesome. Pain in the arse to fit though. I let mine go to scrap.

havnt been on in a while but hears a little update...i got the x16 in and running with four branch manifoldive purchased some 60mm lowering springs & shocks, and some 40mm rear springs(they need a paint) will be doing that tomorrow as well as wrapping my exhaust manifoldill get some pictures tomorrow

got these at a right steel 60mm front and 40mm rear

all painted and on the car



got the tracking done and the lad had a little trouble getting the laser on haha

got this little beuit

all wrapped up and looking sexy lol

the joys of monkeys over tightening bolts

all washed and new wheels on
