  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] Atlantis Blue first car (Dead) and white "Hot Rod" Corsa

hopefully will be a repair thread, started stripping it down today, hopefully people can help me, like what i will need to buy to repair it.

    Cheers

    Dan

first i removed the crash bar

main damage not too sure what i can do with it

i did manage to get the slam panel a bit straighter which also straightened the main damage a bit

also damaged the power steering pipe but it doesn't leak, guess i should still replace it

also the radiator is also out now

lot more work has been done:

pushed the slam panel back up and pulled it out, looks close to how it use to be

tried shoving a bar in to bend it back out, this didn't work, any other ideas?

took the bonnet off and stood on it, almost back in the right place

might be back on the road sooner than i thought

Will be good to see how this turns out *****. I take it the insurance didn't write it off then?

I'd let them write it off it was me, it's not like the cars in a mint condition, isn't half of it still in primer?

Ah. Well on second thoughts then, keep up the good work!

                      Damage doesn't look that bad.

They can still write it off, can't they?

When my girlfriend had an accident, she had to wait for them to tell her she could fix it.

Also, that slam panel looks like a good idea, saves you beating the hell out of yours

already bent the hell out of it and it almost looks the right shape, if the new crash bar dosnt fit then i replace the slam panel, if it does i will make sure every thing else fits right and then maybe reinforce it with metal plates.

these are just plans at the moment, crash was only yesterday, still sinking in
