  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] My Corsa B 1.0

Bought my first car about a month ago, not on the road til june though, got no money!
Finally got a chance to start a 'project' log, it's not much of a project tbh.
Haven't uploaded pics before, so hopefully this will work!

    Just after buying it.

    Clean!

I've also resprayed my wheels in silver, got some smoked side repeaters, debadged and got some fresh plates, no pics yet though. I bought a cheap aldi stereo to go in in the next week or so (hopefully) and a vibe cbr15 active subwoofer.

    Rubbish pic of the sub:

Might be getting some wheel trims but I can't find any that look good.
I'll probably be buying a set of alloys before the end of the year, not sure what to do until then.

    Any suggestions or comments?

That is a facelift bumper, just not cc'd, Gsi ones are near impossible to find here. I'll try to get some cc'd ones (not easy though as I can't afford insurance until june!).

Insurance quotes go way up if I declare lowering springs I'll get insured first then see if I can add it on, hopefully won't go up too much!

Bought these today, 16" vectra alloys, what size tyres do you think would be best?
My road's got plenty of potholes on it btw, so I can't have anything ultra sporty!

195/45 looks best. 195/50 is a bit cheaper and still looks good. Wouldn't go any higher profile than that.

Hmm, I've been told by a few people to go for 185/55, I'll make a new thread just for tyres to get more opinions
Thanks for your input though, the sites pretty quiet these days!

                  Lol which ones?
I'm going for 195 50 15 for my new ones, not everyone can afford to get low profile tyres!
Also I live in the countryside in Ireland, so . . .

Ok, what do you think of 195 50's? I haven't got a lot of experience, so I'm looking for opinions

                            Not too bad.

Depends on look of car, where you want to go with it. If you just want a normal at to get about in, get whatever cheapest. If you want slightly better looks get smaller tyre.
