How you finding it Lee? Not heard much about it since you got it, when you sounded dissapointed as not much faster than the LET?

I've since found out it's how you drive it, so long as you get through the gears whilst it's on boost, it's extremely rapid, although like most cars, it soons becomes comfortable, and you want more power.

On the whole though, I absolutely love it.

I've been quiet with it as I've not got anything to update, other than the fact that I'm midway through telling Admiral to stick their amazingly rip off policies up their arse.

I'm just in the process of cancelling and moving over to somewhere else.

Word to the wise, avoid Admiral as I've found they add up to 60% interest just for choosing to pay by direct debit, then claim they don't have to notify you of it, other than give you the per monthly price.

Just bought new insurance with Kwik Fit of all people. ?350 cheaper than Admiral.

Will be ringing Admiral in the morning and telling them where to shove their policy.

When i was quoting through confused.com admiral whre about the 10th most expensive all the time, and they were the only ones that constantly rung me up and acted as if i wanted to buy it. After the 3rd phone call i told them to remove my details from their database completely and never ring again. Poxy company...

Surprised kwikfit was the cheapest though, odd... Take it you tried flux and quinn and sky and the like yeh? Even with the discount, im now with flux as they turned out a good ?200 cheaper than the cheapest one on confused.com. 15% discount helped aswell lol

Glad you got it sorted though lee, have fun telling admiral where to go, haha!

I wouldnt trust kwik fit with my car...

truthfully though I havent heard anything bad about them, havent heard anything good either. Admiral, Bell, etc group are to be avoided.

I used to be with Admiral, had thier break down cover. Rather than having them then pay RAC or AA/greenflag they just rung a garage near to me to come out. Well I say near, I basically had a grumpy guy in his recovery vehicle turn up and moan about my car and his 2 hour drive to me.

                            Avoid at all costs

They won't be touching it, just insuring it, plus I get a free MOT chucked in. Most specialist places need me to have owned it for a year to prove I won't kill myself, AF wanted about ?3k, and Skyinsurance only insure the 6 backwards.

Was more a joke tbh, they are only a broker and it depends which company underwrite it. Hopefully they put you with a good company.

Like you said most places want experience on that type of car, how you get experience with out owning one/insuring one for the first year is a bit difficult though.

However I wouldnt let them MOT it, unless you sit outside. More than likely a teenage lad will end up ragging it up a few streets, for the sake of ?50 I would rather take it to someone I trust.
