So after some consideration I had to get a daily car! The Corsa is staying and will continue to be worked on
I had a few options for a daily which I got down to a EP3 Civic Type R or a MK4 Ibiza Cupra 1.8T 20v and the Ibiza was the first to come up at a really good deal.
Has the normal spec of a Cupra, below average millage along with tons of receipts/history and a few subtle modifications which include:
AMD Remap
K&N Panel Filter
Forge recirculating dump valve
40mm Springs (unfortunately cheap and ride harsh)
I got the car for a good price as the bodywork has a few dinks and it needs a few mechanical bits doing.
To be done:
Cambelt, water pump, tensioners (done)
New Gearbox oil (done)
Replace missing grill (done)
Remove sun strip (done)
4 New tires (done)
Full Service (done)
H&R 35mm springs
Gearbox mount (done)
New oil dipstick guide (done)
Fix exhaust blow (done)
Remove dents
Detail car (done)
Started off with the gearbox oil which is really easy on these:

Not the best pic but standard brakes are AP Racing 4 pots

Once that was complete I tackled the cambelt:

Odd hydraulic part which pushes against the cambelt tensioner:

Some confusion on the old tensioner (top) with the new one (Bottom) until the centre part was removed which made the tensioners identical. Turns out the part removed is a revision for models of the engine in some Audi's:

Didn't get many pics after this as it was getting late and just wanted the job done. Next day the sunstrip was removed, car cleaned and grill replaced:
