Welcome to the forum mate; project looks like a good jumping off point so I'm looking forward to how this develops.

Just as a heads up you won't be able to get a power box inlet for your car as it's a 1.2; power boxes are for 1.4 and 1.6 engines only. Other than that your plans at a solid start!

I was debating about that when someone told me they won't fit a 1.2.. Dammit! Thanks for the positive feedback

Nice to see a doer upper. I would definitely consider binning the Lexus lights if you're willing to spend any money at all on it. It wouldn't take much to tidy that car up and have it looking decent.

        Also, it's bought, not brought.

I wouldn't bother with an induction kit either. They suck in hot air from the engine bay, and have a nasty habit of breaking your MAF sensor.
Open up the airbox, take the pipe out the lid, drill some holes in the resonator box and stick a K&N panel filter in it.
Will give you some induction noise without losing performance and breaking sensors like an induction kit will.

Thanks AL, Danny so an Induction kit is a no go? what if there was some kind of ducting for cold air to feed into the air intake? - Finally got the lexus lights to work! I don't like them myself but why would I go out and spend money on something that actual works! not best of looking but it will do for now!

You can get dbilas induction kits for the 1.2 but they aren't cheap.

Welcome to the forum. I am a newbie here as well and still part way through my project.

what info did you need for the rear lights? Do you want me to photo my wiring loom or anything?

It's possible but you'll still have the issue of it breaking sensors I think.
As I say best bet is modify the standard box.

That's on a 1.6 engine, but your airbox is almost identical.
