  • [Corsa B 1993-2000] My little 1.0

    Hi All,

Firstly thanks to Cavemark for showing me this site

I bought my corsa 1.0 breeze in Feb 2013 as it was getting tooo cold to keep riding sports bikes, but with zero ncd a 1.0 seemed the right choice, now I realise I should have gone for a 1.2 as the 1.0 loom limits engine changes - you live and learn

Cheers guys, will try and get a few more pics up, had loads - seam to have lost them - hmmm... Yeah, was on AC, tbh stopped posting cause was geting fed up of put downs etc to what I thought were genuine questions ! I admit to being just over 21 and get really annoyed when what to some are "stupid" questions arn't answered - everyone has to start somewhere. I ran a garage for 10 years so would like to think I know a bit about the motor trade - my bug is posts from 18 year old newbies not being answered - knowledge is for sharing - rant over - lol..

More promised - pics that is not rants

This model is on an electrical connector so its just unplug and swap over job that's it but with yours being a pre 97 model it should be cable speedo not electrical

                        HI All,

Right, speedo swap... yeah on mine which is a 99 model its an electrical connector so should just be plug & play ! (BUT) you have to use the right speedo pod, in as much as if youve got a 1.0 3 cylinder car you must use a 1.0 speedo pod ! - if you fit a 1.2/1.4 etc pod, your speedo will be fine but your rev counter will read high, as in very high... my 1.0 now revs to 7k and ticks over @ 2k - I don't think so.

Be careful if buying off ebay as a guy selling many speedo pods can't understands this concept (even aFTER A PHONE CALL - LOL )

                        aL

THese pics are when I had the original door cards fitted, have now changed for black cards front and back and have black lower plastic cards fitted with electric window switchgear - when funds permit will get switches converted to blue LED like the rest of the dash.

at the moment I've got each door window controlled purely by the switch on that side as have an annoying fault which means every time I turn stereo on the n/s window goes down - fault finding planned - lol

Rear spolier which I was told was GSi, but the pics I've seen of GSi spoilers dont have the LED high level brake lights or maybe I've just seen the wrong pics

White dials - painted the standard needles orange (can't really see in this pic ) - fitted blue LED's

Coil overs (prior to fitting ) - tbh the suspension is very hard for round town driving but well worth it on decent tarmac !!! - lowered by about 60mm.

GSi front bumper (which I bought last year ) - tbh its not in great condition but has both fogs - will be fitted in next couple of weeks

there you go for the moment. most of the outstanding work dosn't photograph too well, fitted aux fuse box in n/s kick panel to power heated seats

Only other mods I fancy are fitting Vectra steering wheel with blue LED controls, Vectra sunvisors (illuminated) and Omega variable speed wiper controls but cash short atm so we'll see
