So after owning a few Corsas, driving only 2 of them, i've decided to temporarily buy this Colt 1.3 GLX in Purple (Although Logbook says Blue).
The previous owner has spent quite a bit on it but there is some rust on the body (which I am not too bothered about) and dents here and there. Its just to get me round until November.
It has a Brand new exhaust system from Manifold onwards. It has had new fuel neck filler pipes, New sump and everything works in it including this amazing run roof!
According to MOTs it has been driven 2K a year for about 5 years, stack of receipts of welding at the bottom etc.
I was offered a 2.0 v6 by my mate for it (mivec) engines but honestly cannot be bothered with a engine conversion on this or any modding in fact. Going to keep it simple, give it a service etc. That's all.
A really nice drive, however steering is slightly out, took it for tracking and still the same, I have inspected the arms and stuff and they do not appear to be very good and look like the track rod ends and ball joints need replacing.
Very smooth, clutch is hydraulic so a little weird compared to cable and has a really high biting point.
