The pleb who burnt his Ford Focus to a crisp at a Paul Walker meet

I find this hilarious, not only because I dislike Fords in almost every capacity, but because the guy is clearly such an absolute mong head, he deserves not to have a car.

Long story short, at a Paul Walker memorial meet the other night, this man thought it'd be a grand idea to bounce his 1.6 Focus off the limiter for around 15minutes. Only stopping when the poor thing bursts into flames. Much to the amusement of the crowd surrounding it.

His plate is visible so I really hope someone leaves a little note on the insurers doorstep not to pay out on this one... Would be quite annoying if they gave him another car to break.

The insurance will pay out for the third party damage to the car park surface any other costs, but unsure about the person's car.
He'll say he was revving the car and it burst into flames.
He could argue the rev limiter is there to prevent damage from over revving the engine and the insurance would (probably) need to prove their case in court to decline paying him out if he was to sue.

I'm fairly sure if we want to get technical, that somewhere in the handbook that comes with the car when you buy it'll say *something* about not sitting on the limiter, whilst stationery, for 15minutes... Lol

It's wilful damage, if the insurers see the videos I'd like to think they'd think the same.

Exactly this. Im fairly sure they'll bever be able to have another meet in whatever retail park that is. And the fact it was a memorial meet kinda puts a worse slant on it.

For 15minutes with your foot firmly planted to the floor? Don't you have an aftermarket limiter? And you hit it for short periods of times?
