Guessing that's the non turb? Couple of people I know have had them, strong engines and running costs are not too bad. Although as above their as fast as a 1.4 corsa lol

Poor mans Evo, that's how I see them anyway.

Never been a fan of them I'm general , hate how lairy the massive scoops are ( on some models) , and most are slow as dog ****e and just makes loads of noise

I know they aren't the quickest of Cars but I like scoobs and the 4wd appeals to me, I'm driving a 1.6 astra so I'm hardly going anywhere in a hurry at the moment.

your astra will be faster! when i had an impreza i bought a gl estate wrx lookalike as a van... a 1200 merit corsa would outdrag it and its mpg was unbelieveably bad!

I like them, not fast in comparison to the turbo but nice looking and the 2.0 is still a boxer engine so same sound (smaller engined imprezas don't).

They aren't performance cars, as long as that doesn't bother you it's a nice choice IMO

Haha I doubt it would tbh and mpg isn't too much if a problem as long as it isn't as bad as my old z20let Corsa lol

There are probably better cars for the money though I guess is the thing.

If you fancy a wrx, Sti or an Evo in the future apparently owning one of these can help with experience

As mentioned by others though rather slow for what they are, and quite thirsty on the fuel as well.

Good for donuts in the snow though.
