Having more and more near misses on way to
Work and time to invest. I'm pretty useless with technology so thought I'd ask here. I have few requirements as I don't own a PC. Some of these things may not exist so keep with me haha.

    Want the following

Hidden behind mirror so is discreet and doesn't need removing when leave car
To turn automatically on and record when car is running
Continuously records and records over itself without me pissing about
Would like to view footage on iPhone/iPad if needs be (like to goPro app)
    Ideally HD
FOOTAGE easily removed and downloaded to phone

I don't mind paying extra for it to work simply with stuff, don't have pc so all needs to be wireless syncing. Dodgy areas so don't want auction cup and camera hanging off windscreen

TripREC app does everything you need, except the hide behind wing mirror. If you're like me and constantly have your phone attached to the windscreen though that won't matter.

I'm on my 4th dash cam just now, but never had one that ticks all those boxes. It's a tall order.

I use a Mio MiVue - dead simple to use, has GPS built in. The only thing it won't do is to sit behind the rearview mirror - there are ones that do that but they are still visible so you might as well get a decent camera and just accept you'll need to remove it when leaving the car.

There's a very small stealthy camera called Mobius that is very good and inexpensive. Don't think you'll be able to sync to your phone though. As Hardcore says, might be a bit of a tall order.

Quite embarrassing that it took me a short while to click.

Took me a while to work that he wasn't saying Cam cam and was instead meaning Dash cam...long day
