lowering corsa c

im thinking of putting 15" alloys back on my corsa c and lowering it
what mm springs should I use?

As the tyres should be 185 / 55 / 15 eibach's as they give a 35 mm drop and give brilliant handling and a good drop. Any lower you will be changing drop links every few months.

my original tyres were 195/65/15 but I changed to 17" alloys. im now thinking about putting 195/50/15 tyres on with new alloys obviously and 40mm springs,
does that sound ok or will it be too low?

Does / did it have sxi wheels on as 195's arent on those wheels

I had my old c lowered about 80mm front on FK coil overs and 100mm rear on custom springs, running 195/50/15
