What do people think to these?

Anything to look out for fault wise?

I hear then can be upgraded easy enough and get some good gains

Had looked into them myself previously but the 1.9TDi is a better engine imo as long as it's the PD130.
Better on fuel, more reliable, more aftermarket parts etc. and almost as fast as the V6 3.0TDi

What bhp is the 1.9? Also the tax is cheap on them iirc it's 140 for year isn't it? The 3.0 is 156 for 6 month lol

I'm after a fast nice diesel lol something I can modify easy (not cost the earth to mod aswell)

Any suggestions would be great, also yeah pd engines are bullet proof was even looking at Octavia vrs's

After a estate if possible, really like the a4/a6 estates and Quattro appeals to me also lol

If you want a 3.0l diesel go for the 330d, it is a superior car at that age range.

Well, I came across a few beemer forums and the majority of users said the Audi was miles better than the bmw, they said bmws steering was poor and the engine didn't even compare to the Audi, they weren't saying g the Audi was a amazing Car or anything but that it was a lot better than the beemer

We are talking e46 and B7 age range aren't we?

I've owned a 330d and an A4 2.0. So I can't compare the engines however the bmw 6 cylinder is an excellent engine, pulls up to the red line and is probably the best Diesel engined car I've owned. The driving position was much better and it handled like it was on rails (the A4 on the other hand was wallowy round country roads).

I would own both again but the bmw is the better car IMO.

Not sure tbh looking around the 05plate onwards, I prefer the look of the audi but I can get bmw Parts really cheap lol swings and roundabouts

Also, those seat Leon 1.9tdi 150s what sort of power can you get from them without killing the reliability?

That's a really good deal. Sport is similar spec to the FR (same engine and gearbox)

What about the 1.9 Audi? Is that the same engine?

The PD engines Audi wise they only came in 105, 115 and 130bhp versions.
150bhp tdi is only on the Golf and Leon and 160Bhp tdi is only on the Ibiza mk4
