In my opinion the facelift ones look much nicer. Same alloys just with different centre caps.
The standard wheels look great on a lowered car:

thanks again car is on a n plate registered 1996 very low mileage although its identical in trim and spec to this fitted with trims 1995 N Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 16v Sport, Only 40,000 Mile's, Demo + 2 Lady Owner's ! | eBay

some on ebay now actually 2k is a bit steep the one I just bought is almost as mint but has 70k on the clock it wasn't anywhere near 1k never mind 2
