My recommendation would be to get a mk1, they don't rust as badly. If you view one with any rust, avoid it as it's generally terminal. The eunos roadsters should generally be in better condition as they have spent less time on the UK roads exposed to salt, plus they're always undersealed when imported.

If you're going for a 1.6 don't buy one later than 1994 (I think) as the UK ones were detuned and only have about 90bhp. Before that the 1.6 has around 115bhp.

Seriously, get a mk1. The mk2/2.5 can rust without you even knowing and when it finally gets to the surface it's far too late to save.

Agree to disagree lol. MR2 looks very dated to me, MX5 has a more classic feel to it.

AJ that doesn't look too bad, I'd still be weary due to it having had sill repairs. Just check the quality of the sill repairs thoroughly and ask to see a receipt for the work.

Mileage wise that's nothing for these engines. What model is it? And what engine?
