Thanks without the car for 3 days as the rear bumper is being repsrayed I accidently touched another car on my mates drive aiming for the drop down haha. Costing 250, but will be a top job and you'll never tell so will be worth it. otherwise that 250 would've been spent modding not repairing!

I never liked the D when it came out, but I'm starting to think they can be made to look really nice now.

Welcome to the forum mate, nice D you have there, I approve of what you've done with it lol.

D's in standard form look awful to me, even VXR's, but slammed with subtle mods, and nice wheels, really really nice.

    Said this few months back.

D's can be made to look really really nice with minimal
    Mods. Yours has proved this.
    Great work

Wow I can't believe the feedback I've had haha! Thanks everyone! It means a lot since I've put many hours into work on apprentice wage to get the money together to do the mods and buy the wheels haha
Not really an update, but my mate did a video of my car playing around with his new camera practising editing etc. Here it is

Ive had a look at your thread I reckon you could do the same on the grill as mine, on yours? I think little is more with the red stripes haha!

It's soooo easy to mate honestly. I just stuck the first bit down, then gently pulled some length off the roll of tape, keeping some tension, and just followed the crease on the bumper with my finger while letting the roll spin on the one finger. If that makes sense. As long as your finger follows the crease, jobs a gooden! It cost me around 3 for something silly like 10 metres. so plenty to practise with!

Only criticism I think I have is the tyres look too big...and I'm not a fan of carbon wrap.

I've asked my mate and he said he has no clue what camera it is haha, sorry!

And yeah I see what you mean about the tyres, I think a few of the photos actually make them look bigger than they are? Cause they're not too bad in person. In an ideal world i'd have just bought a set of 4 new tyres with slightly lower profile when I had the wheels but I do a lot of motorway driving, therefore wanted quality tyres on, which would cost a bomb! So I swapped my old tyres over onto the rota gtrs to wear them down it's getting towards winter now anyway so I may be taking them off while the grit and snow will be around, i'm still unsure haha

I've took all the badges off the rear today, didn't realise what a difference it made!
