    Sunny Melon LE 1.3 CDTi

Yes, the paint code is genuinely called Sunny Melon. Cracked me up.

Well as most of you know my Corsa has gone Served me well but Soph and I just don't need two cars at the moment so my one's been sold on.

So I'm now driving Soph's D for the time being and am already itching to tweak it slightly!

Here's a few pics I took about a year ago:

First thing I did when Soph bought the car was buy her some tailor fitted mats with yellow piping.

But as all girls seem to do with their cars, it didn't stay clean and tidy for long. So this week I've given it a proper tidy out of all the ****e and old receipts that lined the door pockets.

Gave it a thorough hoover today and replaced the interior light with a bright white SMD light.

As you can see, nice and clean and also bright from the SMD:

    Also ordered some of these:

VAUXHALL CORSA D 3door 2006-2012 HEKO wind deflectors 2pc set - fits all trims | eBay

Next thing is to remove the rear window stickers and replace them with a thecorsa.co.uk sticker

Plan to give it a good wash whenever the weather permits in the next few days. Hardest thing of all to do will be persuade Soph to let me remove the corsa and ecoflex badges from the rear!

Although I like these cars, and love the colour.

Is this going to be any sort of project? As I'm sure I've read she didn't want it to be

Honestly, no. Not of the sort I'd like or you'd like. It's not my car so I obviously have to respect that.

I feel like I've got a new car though so I really want to make a few tweaks here and there which I'm sure I can get away with, but I obviously can't get carried away. There's also the case of having to respect the warranty, as boring as that sounds.

Fly eyes kit means it's removable too. There's a plus point for convincing the lady.

I want the oem factory smoked ones, can't find any for sale and I imagine they'll be pricey. May look at fly eyes. The main thing I need to persuade her on is the debadging. Things that are removable like fly eyes and wind deflectors should be fine.

Got rid of some crappy rear window stickers, they left a load of sticky **** behind but all cleared up now:

    Done:

Still working on convincing Soph to let me partially debadge it. Also going to get a new tax disc holder and SMD bulb for the boot. Exciting stuff I know.

Yellow was a colour my wife looked at, didn't want red or white but then she saw chilli orange and it was game over !!

It would carry a few black touches very well indeed, show her my wife's and say it needs the grill and fog fins going gloss black to match the other black bits that are standard lol, those along with a black boot badge and some nice black LE stickers below some tinted repeaters and she will love you forever...

If I had the funds and it was my car that's pretty much exactly what I'd do. Alas that isn't the case though lol.

Yeah I was thinking A as well. Looking at getting some Polarg DRL bulbs, chrome bulbs to detango the rear lights and some Insignia washer jets.

Noticed one of the side repeater casings is broken so need to get a new one of those. May see if I can detango them too.
