    X10XE Engine Problem

    Some may already know this from AC however;

    Was driving home one night when car started fluffing, almost like no fuel however there definately is fuel in it.

    I've already replaced some parts, and fitted some spares that came with the car. It's had;
    - New EGR
    - New MAF
    - New CTS
    - Cleaned ICV (most because revs were erratic which it solved)
    - New Crank Sensor
    - New Cam Sensor
    - New Fuel Filter
    - New Spark Plugs

    Also, fitted all new timing kit Was rattling, so did this anyway - unrelated.

    However, when I turn it over, it wont start. Sound like it wants too, and if you use ezstart it'll run and rev?

    I'm no mechanic, however, there is fuel getting to the rail as if you push the valve in and turn it over, it pumps loads out, so the next step down would be injectors, yes?

    Like I said, I'm no mechanic, but any ideas? It's such a clean car and I really don't wanna have to scrap it, but on the same note I don't have loads to throw at it.

    Oh and to add - there's no EML on.

    Have you checked that you now have a spark?

    Essentials for an engine to run:
    1) Fuel.
    2) Air.
    3) Compression.
    4) Correctly timed spark.

    By the way, ditch the 'Easy Start' before you ruin an otherwise good engine!!!

    Regards.

    Well at the moment - it's a not so good engine.

    Yes spark on all 3, there is compression (used a compression tester not just cranked it) and timing is fine.

    Fuel is getting to the rail, as if you push the valve in and turn it over, it gives loads out of it, however, there's clearly none getting to the injectors?

    Like I said, I'm no expert but that's what we've done so far, and thats where the fuel is getting too, it's just after that im stuck

    Have you checked the relay for the injectors? (Same type as the relay for the fuel pump)

    In this situation I'd check if the plugs are wet after cranking.
