    Spraying a car Matt black

When spraying a car Matt black do you do the same process as normal colours? Eg sand down, primer, spray then lacquer? Or is it just simply spray the car with Matt paint?

You can do it normally but flat back and spray works just as well for matte black, it looks poo though

Think its around 350 for the kit for a small sized car but that comes with everything you need from sprayer/compressor to microfibre cloths. Find the main guy who does it on YouTube and his website has the best prices by far

Wrappings probably the way to go I'd say.
There's a 5-door XE on here wrapped Matt black and it looks great.

Wrapping would be the best option.
Car would hold its value and you don't have to worry so much about stone chips, with there not being the protective clear coat present.

this is actually what i'm doing with my car, its cheap enough you can buy a gallon of plasti dip for about 50 euro and a spray gun for 30 euro...i'll be doing it in about a month or so, don't imagine it would turn out to bad as its not like you need to worry about runs to much.

Matt black goes patchy, where as gloss paint tends to run.
When I sprayed my bonnet matte black, I must have gave it at least 16 coats until it started to look half decent.
Within about a month, the paint had started to fade and my bonnet had acquired more stone chips than it had before in the 12 years of being on the road.

I was talking about the plasti dip not matte black paint itself. Don't believe it works the same way
