    Curries

So tried a vindaloo last night and really didn't like the taste, seemed to have a tea kind of taste.

Normally I go for korma or tikka masala as I like the taste and sauciness, but they aren't really spicey enough.

So what curries combine the sauce flavours but with more spice?

I'll try most curries, although I'm not keen on really hot ones. Normally I'll pick one I've not heard of before.

I like the Madras as well. Less hot than the Vindaloo, but still hotter than the average curry.
Once my mouth goes numb with a curry, i stop enjoying it though and it's more of a conquest. That's what i felt like the last time i had a vindaloo

They do a Bin Laden curry at my local. Vindaloo is rated 3 chilli hotness but this is rated 5.

I stuck to chicken balti or chicken tikka balti and people often say I should eat hotter ones prefer something I like rather than trying to earn 'man points'

More spices = stronger taste, but usually hotter as well, i find.
It just gets to a stage where it gets too hot and the pain overtakes the flavour

I like jalfrizi or if Akbars I get a balti but upgraded to madras hot.

Madras hot tikka can be nice but as they vary so much between chefs and I Dont like fruit and coconut based curries usually don't order these if eating out or takeaway. More pub meal and home cook.

Lost thirty mins finding a toilet in way home from York today due to green chillies/jalfrrzi I been eating last two days :/

I like a nice taste with a spice level that's a enjoyment not a challenge but a mild kick to it.

Also I quite like Balti, but no sure if I've tried a madras so think that ones for next time.

just ask the chef to make it a bit hotter if you like a certain curry but want it hotter. I like a rezzala

We'll I decided to try something different last night, a chicken tiki chilli masala. It was hot and very nice.

So far I've almost poisoned myself with my farts, been for two ****s and think a third may be on the eat before I go out tonight...starting to think it wasn't my best idea before a night out
