    CD player speakers to laptop?

I know it's not Car related but u have a CD player in my house with 2 separate speakers that you connect to the player, my question is, is it possible to make these 2 speakers play from my laptop? Would I need to put a jack on the end of the 2 wires? Anyone got any advice other than buy speakers for laptop lol

Possible yes but as they are probably unpowered they won't be very good. You can get speakers easy enough - how much are you looking to spend? I really want a Bose set but they are quite a lot...

Ild personally just buy speakers, see if Google comes up with soldering 3.5mm jacks on the end. But 3.5mm rca is less quality than hi fi I beleive.

You don't need to spend a lot, just a small pair of active speakers will do most people.

Save up and treat yourself after the cars fixed

I love the 2.1 kit and you can probably get something cheaper, but if you wanted something semi decent it could do. If you just want 2 speakers you can usually get some decent ones for like 40 ish anyhow that do the job.

I quite liked the Creative T10's I had on my last PC.

Easier than trying to convert hi-fi speakers to fit though !
