Removing white paint flakes from black car paint

    Hi all,

I have what looks like spray from paint that is all over the car in tiny white speckles.

What is the best way to get this off do you think without any damage or wear to the paint below?

I wanted to look into removing this before I clean/clay/scratch repair & restore/polish/wax the car.

When I had overspray on my car I found clay was the only thing that got it off.

Thanks dude, just wondering if it needed to be done in any special way (non abrasive - no dodgy chemicals) as dont want to ruin my paint.

I'll give the car a manual clean tomorrow if my backs up to it and try to clay it off, if it doesnt come off I'll have to stop at that stage and try something else.

Took a few hours but did manage to get the flakes off the bonnet using clay. Had to press really hard though. Will slowly get through the whole car over time
