    Corsa C SXI+ 5door

One of these for sale about hour away. Like new. Semi leathers ect. Electric 1.2 petrol 39k miles and full service history from Vauxhall. 3500 with min trade in for old car of 500.

It seems ok price wise as all chepaer ones are more mileage , worn and 3dr.

Wanting five door as baby due and think it be easier. Also want a less worn out car. But with me doing 20k mileage could be ideal and more reliable?

    Price seem fair? Worth upgrading?

I do wish to have another C and not be a traitor so can transfer my stuff

Edit: do want to haggle it down a bit also.

Seems alright, bit pricey though. Depends on the age really, if it's 05-06 then yeah possibly worth it but if it's prefacelift then not really worth it imo.

    Yes it's a facelift.

I would try and get it closer towards 2.5k if you could.

I wish I got an SXi+ when u was looking but didn't have the moment and did not want a petrol/CDTi engine, so I opted for the DTi one. It'll be a lovely car if you do get it, can join the 5dr club too

Yeah I really should get a diesel as I do lot of mileage. What's wrong with CDti?

Maybe there is another good one like this somewhere. All diesels or others I seen are like 100k mileage.

What's an SXI+ compared to SXI. Doesn't have air con or a sun roof but thought these versions would.

Want something that I trust more for reliability than my old corsa and cheaper insurance as more valuable/5dr and nicer to sit in.

CDTi has a common rail injection system, and electronics tend to go wrong and have massively expensive repairs. The 1.7 CDTi isn't too bad, but still has it's problems. The 1.3 CDTi is riddled with problems, mainly down to the EGR ****ing everything up in some way.

The DTi which I have, is an Isuzu engine and is bomb proof.
Don't worry about a diesel with over 100K mileage, mine has done 155k and still runs like a beauty.

SXi + has things like leather seats and sometimes cruise control, each one is different. Have to look into the individual extras.

cruise control? can fit that for small amount anyways lol,

    Remember it's not real leather.

Check the back bottom of front seats from where passengers sit for any signs of splits as they normally go there and normal wear and tear anywhere people sit.

    SXI + Has

Slightly sportier suspension so nice grippy ride compared to other specs
5 hp more than sxi and other spec equivalents
Tinted rear quarters and rear window
Normal silver seat belts and gear / handbrake covers and centre column
    Front fogs
overall top spec of the lower spec car price reflects milage etc so not badly priced. 3 door bought in 2006 13,357 miles, one owner from new cost me just over 5,500.

Always haggle from car dealers / sales even if you end up with free road tax.

Thanks for the info, this is a 1.2. Is it worth me getting a diesel for the milage I do? They seem quite rare and so does this petrol 1.2 I linked above.

The thing itself looks like its brand new on the images, obviously I will check it over if I go to see it and will check the seats like you said.

Yeah only some variants had it standard, like my car could have it bends why it had a clutch switch, which is only used for cruise control. However. It does not have the extra and is pointless having the stupid switch

so if i got the car for 3000 - 500 for mine , 2500 and a trade in that would be fair then if its in really good nick?

Like you said it may be prone to issues, but you didnt mention the 1.2 - The 1.2 looks just like my ecotec petrol 1.0 so it cant be any worse than what I got which has done 105k miles so far.

Petrol ones are fine mate. Just the CDTi diesels that have numerous problems

I know it's easier to part exchange, but you'd get way more than 500 for your Corsa, use the extra cash and you'd be able to buy it outright

    You think?

Its 105k miles, 2001 1.0 Petrol and isnt in the best nick. It runs well enough though, 500 is the min but I wanted to get more, but unsure what I can value it at.
