    What car, 30mpg

After much consideration I've decided a petrol might be best. My budget is about 3.500-4000.

Needs to be good on the motorway and return a real world 30+mpg. I'll be doing 20,000+ miles a year. This is normally diesel territory however the bork potential of a diesel makes me think a petrol is more sensible without a warranty.

    Comfortable, 200+bhp, 30+mpg (combined).

My work pay 27.5p a mile, plus the government male that up to 40p for the first 10,000 so 30 mpg would still give me money for servicing, tyres and ill probably be up.

EP3 would be a good choice i think. You seemed to like the ATR a lot

Looks its age now, it's a 97 model car unfortunately. Euro r, if in budget, would be my first choice.

The Euro r is gorgeous. Can you get a decent DC5 in that budget?

I can't do this sensible thing, keep looking at other cars. So far a 911. Can someone bring some sensibility to my requirements.
